The Role

Join our dynamic Player Protection Team as a Senior Player Protection Specialist, playing a pivotal role in overseeing player risk management processes while providing guidance and support to team members.

In addition to core responsibilities such as monitoring AML, EDD, Fraud, Safer Gambling, and Affordability concerns, this role entails Level 3 Sign Offs and offering mentorship to fellow Player Protection Specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the Player Protection Team, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Conduct Level 3 sign-offs for escalated cases, demonstrating comprehensive understanding and decision-making ability.

  • Provide mentorship and buddy support to Player Protection Specialists, fostering their professional development and skill enhancement.

  • Generate EDD reports and verify sources of account funding as part of risk assessment procedures.

  • Engage in Safer Gambling interactions to promote responsible gaming practices among players.

  • Develop risk profiles through thorough account investigations and online research.

  • Perform daily screening of players for ongoing monitoring requirements.

  • Investigate fraud alerts and collaborate with players to resolve account discrepancies effectively.

Your Profile

We seek candidates with extensive experience in online gaming within the Player Protection domain, who is able to show some leadership abilities. The ideal applicant will be self-motivated and willing to undertake independent learning to strengthen their product and regulatory knowledge to fully support agents and specialists.

What are we looking for? 

  • Proficiency in managing challenging calls within the UK market.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong investigative capabilities.

  • Ability to craft personalised and impactful emails tailored to individual players.

  • Aptitude for overcoming objections during telephone interactions and persuading players to submit required documents.

  • Proven ability to provide effective mentorship and support to team members.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to make informed decisions at Level 3 Sign Offs.

Role Specifics

This position reports to the Player Protection Team Leaders and is based in our office in Gibraltar.  To accommodate business needs, expect a rotating shift schedule totalling 40 hours per week, including weekends and evenings during peak periods.
